Hemisqualane is sustainable and naturally-derived, and alternative to silicone in hair care. Hemisqualane is approved by the Ecocert, and can be used up to 55% in the oil phase.

Hemisqualane is a light emollient produced from plant sugar. Although oil-like, it is fast absorbing and is a great emollient and conditioner in formulations, without the heaviness and greasiness that oil brings.
